• You do not need to be an ASA member to participate — the more respondents, the more powerful the data becomes.
• The survey is conducted anonymously, in compliance with Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission regulations. Only aggregated, anonymized statistics will be published.

A message from the American Society of Anesthesiologists Committee on Economics:

The ASA’s 2024 survey revealed the first substantial decline in national median commercial conversion factor in more than a decade. This finding was in stark contrast to the recent trends in market determined costs for anesthesia staffing. The Committee on Economics believes that robust annual survey results will be critical moving forward – both in assisting practices to assess the overall value of their services, as well as to organized advocacy efforts targeting the lawmakers and regulators who provide oversight to the health insurance industry.
