I don’t know about you but when the year comes to a close I go through the painstaking process of reviewing my household services contracts and thinking about my financial goals for the coming year. This exercise isn’t only about price shopping, it’s about making sure we are happy with the service we’re getting. Is our vendor responsive to our needs? Do we feel like we are in a trusted partnership where we’re valued the same as someone with a bigger home or larger bank account? I often wonder why we do these things individually but don’t seem to take the same approach when it comes to business.
We often hear of anesthesia groups that are unhappy with their billing partner and yet they stay in the situation thinking things will improve. Do yourself and your group a favor: think about what you value in a relationship on a personal level and apply that to your business. If you’re constantly having to watch your AR or it takes days or weeks to have a question answered or get a much needed report to make informed financial decisions, is it worth it to stay in that relationship?
At Fusion Anesthesia Solutions we are committed to serving our clients and that commitment is demonstrated by the fact that we have never lost a client for performance reasons in our almost 50-year history. Our staff and our clients are the heart of our organization and we are extremely grateful for both.
We wish all anesthesia providers a very happy holiday season and a joyous New Year.
